Sandranathan Rubatheesan

A photographer from Killinochi who has been documenting the impact of climate change on the island since 2021 and the response of locals to adapt to the new normal; be it frequent annual flooding or drought and increasingly unpredictable weather in recent years.

Rubatheesan also manages his family’s farm in Killinochi where he has had first hand experience of the effect on crops due to climate change, the combination of creativity and his knowledge in agriculture brings a new perspective to the table.
