Our residency fosters innovation, collaboration, and social impact, welcoming diverse creatives to explore new ideas and challenge the status quo, and creating an inclusive space where all voices are valued.
Our Goals
Our aim is to forge connections among diverse communities and institutions, spanning from industries, universities, art institutions, innovation clusters, patrons, curators, collectors, and global advocates etc.
The Creative Catalyst Fellowship is a space where creative musings and partnerships converge, shattering limiting beliefs and exploring boundless possibilities through innovative and intuitive methods of creativity and collaboration to catalyze change.

Empower
The fellowship is generously supported by the Promoting Positive Information (PRO-INFO) initiative, funded by USAID/Sri Lanka through the Civil Society and Media Strengthening Together and Advancing in New Directions (CSM-STAND) program. Implemented by IREX, this fellowship aims to foster a more democratic and citizen-responsive information and media environment in Sri Lanka.
Good Life X (GLX) is a dynamic innovation and development hub, aiming to spark a new era of life-enhancing projects in South Asia. We help startups, SMEs, and investors grow quickly by providing essential knowledge and expertise, with a focus on regeneration and innovation.

The theme of this year is Climate Positive.
By being part of the cohort, a creative will have the chance to participate in a residency, be mentored by established individuals in the arts and environmental sphere, take part in inspiring conversations, collaborate and network with other creatives, utilize a dedicated studio space which will be the hub for creating their work to be shown at an exhibition.
1. Dilsiri Welikala – Kalpitiya based artist who experiments with upcycled materials and is a mentor to the local youth.
2. Poornima Jayasinghe – artist and co-founder, and director of the Collective of Contemporary Artists (CoCA – Symbiosis).
3. Munira Mutaher – a photographer/photojournalist who work focuses on the Anthropocene and relationships of human and nature
4. Mahesha Sewwandi Kariyapperuma – architect and self-taught artist
5. Krishnapriya Tharmakrishnar – Jaffna based sculptor & painter
6. Kanil Dias Abeygunawardene – engineer by profession but a full-time maker and founder of Geoblox
7. Kaushalya Nandasena – Polonnaruwa born artist and photographer, graduate of Kelaniya University
8. Lakshika Gayathree Rajapakse – Founder of Tikiri & Co, and textile artist
9. Sandranathan Rubatheesan – A photographer from Killinochi focusing on climate change
10. Dinoj Mahendranathan – Music producer and founder of DreamSpace Records.
In December of 2024
Our ten fellows’ work will be based on their learnings from the residency, the conversations with mentors and passionate individuals from the environmental and artistic spheres, and their overall inspirations from the program. Await their exciting work to be displayed in December!
