Mahesha Sewwandi Kariyapperuma

A junior Landscape Architect as well as a self-taught artist, she dedicated herself to studying and exploring different artistic mediums, techniques, and styles in search of her own unique creative voice. In her recent artistic endeavors, she has sought to capture the essence of the Sri Lankan identity, often shining a spotlight on current events unfolding in her homeland.

Infusing a sense of magic and mythology into her depictions of reality in her art has become a defining aspect of her work, which works as a catalyst to make people aware about their identity & their freedom of expression for sustainable development of the country.
